Principal

Marco Sciarra

Marco graduated from York University in 2003, earning an Honours Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Law and Society. Following his undergraduate studies, Marco pursued his legal education at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, subsequently being called to the Bar of Ontario in 2008.

Marco is an esteemed member of various legal organizations, including the Law Society of Ontario, the Criminal Lawyers Association, the Toronto Lawyers Association, Legal Aid Ontario, and the Canadian Italian Advocates Organization.

Associate

Nicola Perry

Nicola holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pure and Applied Mathematics with honours and distinction from Concordia University and a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School.

 

Before starting as an associate, Nicola worked for Marco as both an articling and summer student. She has experience working on large scale wiretap investigations and search and seizure, and has worked closely with senior counsel on all matters including homicides, CDSA charges, armed robberies, impaired driving, and sexual assaults.

Nicola is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Criminal Lawyer’s Association.

Paralegal

Melissa Widdifield

Melissa, a paralegal, graduated from CDI College in 2012 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws at the University of London England.

 

With prior experience at esteemed criminal law firms, she has assisted counsel in complex criminal matters at the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal. Melissa's practice centers on criminal law, Highway Traffic Act offenses, and aiding clients with record suspensions.

 

She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and a student member of the Criminal Lawyer’s Association.

Articling
Student

Samantha Kettner

Samantha graduated from Western University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and received her J.D. from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law. Samantha has a particular interest in Charter issues and advocating for procedural fairness within the justice system.
